Raising Boys

If you know, please clue me in ...;) Really....leave any advice here !!

However, this one thing I am learning more and more everyday . Boys need, need, need, discipline. They need to learn to work hard at a young age . I tell my Brayden ( age 9 ) everyday that I am employed by God , and my job is to raise him to become ,not neccesarily to be,but to be-come a great father and husband . It is my sons job to get up early, feed the chickens, let the dog out, feed the dog,and cat. And each day I give him specific chores to do,I am always looking for chore opportunities for him , whether it would be sweeping off the  back porch, blowing the driveway,or garage , loading firewood . He has to learn to be responsible as well, if he is going to be able to take care of his family , and I remind him everyday why I am doing what I do , and even though I am met with great resistence some  most of the time , the other day he said to me , " mom, I know why you teach me these things ! "  Yeah , I heard a choir alright!
Proverbs 22 : 6  " Train up a child in the way he should go , and when he is old he will not depart "
Did you get the most important part, did you ? "When he is old,he will not depart " How many of us mommas

get so frustrated when our sons are disrespectful, rebellious,or just plain lazy? Try not to fall out with it , thinking your a complete failure ! I have those days too , but according to Gods word these things take time , and one day when he is older and wiser you will reap all the hard work and effort you put into your children. Well, for now thats all I know ! Anything else I learn along the way , I will be sure to add it  here ! ;)
